Samar Samir Mezghanni (Arabic: سمر سمير المزغني) is an Iraqi Tunisian writer and activist.

Early Life & Education[edit | edit source]

Samar Samir Mezghanni was born to Tunisian lawyer Samir Mezghanni and to Iraqi Sahar Abdelatif who earned a BA in economics and management from Al-Mustansiriya University and has worked at the Iraqi embassy in Tunis, Tunisia. Mezghanni earned a baccalaureate from Lycée Khaznadar and earned a BA in psychology from the High Institute for Human Sciences of Tunis and an MA in psychology from the University of Birmingham.

Career[edit | edit source]

She worked upon graduation as a Project Manager for British Council Tunisia and has become a consultant for the United Nations. She has been a World Economic Forum Global Shaper since December 3, 2011.[1]
